Sunburn Sally

Ever since I was a wee little lass my skin has shriveled up and burned like bacon whenever it comes into contact with the sun. I thought that I would be really careful this summer and take extra special care of my delicate skin...however we are about a week into summer and I already look like a lobster. The worst part though, is that I attempted to save my skin by lazily slathering on some old sun block I found in the medicine cabinet. Therefore I have given myself handprints and stripes all over my face and arms. HOT! LITERALLY!

I even have that white stripe and racoon circles where my sunglasses were. Nice.

How did I get this beautiful pain? While hanging around all day on my friend's SAILBOAT. That's right, I said sailboat. It was, in a word, rad. You have to be ready for sailing though...it's not just like hanging out on any old motorboat. Sailing is choppy and wavy and bumpy and tilty. I loved it.

Sailing also makes you hungry for cheeseburgers as it turns out.

A fun day was had by all. Until an hour later when I realized I couldn't move my red swollen hands, at all.

I'm sailing again tomorrow. I'm hooked y'all.
