Found

This is going to be a photoblog of some of the funnier things I've seen lately in the funniest places. Enjoy.

Here was a couple months ago, not however in March, when I found a neat little pile of shamrock confetti left behind on the bus seat next to me. It made me giggle nonstop.

This is a necklace that I won out of a machine for my friend Kristen. These necklaces were called "Chrome Zones" and hers was an awesome dog. She wore it all day. I had an awesome dragon but I snuck it on to her real dog's collar, as I'm prone to do.

Here is my cat Lulu being horrifically ripped from the comfort of my moms house and transported by evil car to our new home. The window is down here and she is being windblown slightly. If only you could hear the noises that went with this. Poor Lucy.

I noticed something strange under my desk at work the other day. It was a Flintstone vitamin, Bam Bam I believe. I had dropped it days ago and couldn't find it, but then, it returned. Very mysterious. And also, Flintstones vitamins lying on the ground independant of other Flintstones vitamins, or you know...breakfast....look hilarious.

Oh, yeah...I take Flintstones vitamins. Shut it.

I actually walked right past this on the street, then stopped, thought about it and went back to make sure I'd seen it correctly. It's just the word "Queen" lying in a pile of trash in a gutter.

And this is my friend Bryant, dressed as a queen and singing to a pile of trash in a gay bar.

Here's me, that girl you have a massive crush on. I'm on the farm in Morrisson where my brother is getting married this August. In this picture I'm contemplating how many martinis it's safe to have at the reception and still make it through the cornmaze. As my brother and Trixie and our mothers sat and discussed the menu with the woman who owns this farm I couldn't help it anymore and finally blurted out, "Please! Will the cornmaze be open after the ceremony?" The woman looked at me very seriously, checked me out to make sure I wasn't being a smartass. Once our eyes connected over the mutual and epic solemnity and respect we shared for mazes made of corn she simply said, "Yes it will. And the theme this year is Pirates." Rapture.

This is us leaving our ceiling level seats after opening night of "The Color Purple" If you look very closely at this photo you can see the cast getting their photos taken with Oprah. Yes, Opie was there in her purple finery telling us all about "Oprah Winfrey Presents Oprah Winfrey's Favorite Book Written By Oprah Winfrey's Best Friend Who Loves Nothing More Than Oprah Winfrey's The Color Purple Presented By Oprah Winfrey and Jesus." It was my first time seeing Big-O and I have to say I was pretty excited. She is really pretty. People were like, flipping over the balcony they were so excited. Angie made me die laughing after the final song when she asked if I thought we should give it a standing "O". Angie and I also played a game called "How many people at The Color Purple will WEAR the color purple?" Unfortunately it was more than even we could have expected. And we did not receive free cars.

I work on the 11th floor of my building. I take the elevators up and the stairs down. I was able to snap this picture in between floors six and seven yesterday. Nothing like a little unexpected potty humor on your way down the stairs is there?
Have a delicious weekend y'all. More on Monday.
