Interviews, Pants, Bloody Teeth Etc.

My internet has been tweeking out and I am on an interviewing spree this week. Not just interviews...second interviews! Everyone hold tight and please keep your adorable little fingies crossed for me.

In other news, my adorable mom bought me a new interview outfit to boost morale at Camp Brooke the other day and in a flashback to teenage years I was able to sneak in a couple extra items at the cash register. I love when the cashier tells my mom the amount and mom looks stunned then says "Wait..." and I smile and say "Thanks Mommy." It's our favorite game. Point being...I now own the most comfortable pair of pants I've ever owned.

In the constant struggle to finally just take the plunge and seriously quit smoking and drinking soda I examined my teeth this week. They looked...ugly. So I told mom that I would quit smoking if she'd pay for me to get my teeth bleached. She didn't go for it. So today before I went to my most important interview I decided...in typical Brooke fashion to just brush my teeth for an abnormally long time. Remember, I'm the girl who still thinks that the hotter the temperature on the oven the faster the food will cook. I know it's not true but I keep trying. Anyway, I brushed my teeth for about fifteen minutes straight this morning...I knew I was done when it went from foamy to bloody...so clearly that wasn't a good idea. Guess I'll really have to quit smoking.

Anyway, have a good weekend and I'll be back in full force next week!

My dental hygenist told me not to waste my money on having the dentist do my teeth whitening because doing the Crest Whitestrips was just as effective and only $35, as opposed to $600 that I'd have to shell out on my own because my insurance wouldn't pay for it. She's nice.
