15 Minutes Of Crazy

No matter how much you love someone, if they are an extremely rational and level headed person...and you are having an extremely irrational problem...no one will get anything but annoyed.

However, if you hang up, burst into tears and then decide to call your other extremely irrational friend instead...everything works out in the end.

Snippet of the phone conversation I had tonight with Jeremy around 10:30, after a totally normal day.

J: Hello?
Me: (sobbing) It's me.
J: Oh no, what's wrong?
Me: (very high pitched and still crying) I tried to use the power jet thing on my clogged tub and it didn't shoot the clog to France like in the commercial.
J: Honey, I didn't understand anthing you just said.
Me: France! In the commercial the clog gets shot to France. Mine didn't budge.
J: Oh, that's ok.
Me: NO IT'S NOT OK! I messed it up, it's my fault it didn't work...I misread the directions, I'M AN IDIOT! If I can't follow directions about how to use Draino how am I supposed to start a new job tomorrow?
J: Oh, I know...starting a new job sucks. Everyone is an idiot when they first start a new job.
Me: (less crying) They are?
J: (Proceeds to tell me hilarious stories about his mom when she first started working at a nursing home, I start to laugh, all is well.)

I do love that Jeremy. It's always a relief to be able to call someone when you are feeling nervous and kookie who can relate. As oppossed to hearing the unspoken "Why are you so freaking crazy?" of the rational person on the other end.

Anyway, now all is well and I am off to sleep.

*Just a note to anyone who has been trying to text message me lately, it's turned off, so I am neither able to receive or send texts anymore, which is fine I guess. I'm also not able to send pictures from my phone to my blog anymore either...so someone should buy me a digital camera. I'm just sayin'.*
