It Runs In The Family

In case you've ever wondered where I get my enjoyment of wearing wigs or my natural friendships with drag queens...I give to you...my stepdad Jimmy.

He teaches 9th grade. Here he is on the first day of school, preparing to educate the minds of 14 year olds. His motto for his class this year is "prepare for the unexpected" or something so this was his plan to help prepare them for that. He told them all (in a high pitched voice) that Mr. Z was gone for the semester and that "she" would be their sub. In short, my stepdad stood in front of a room full of adolescent Chicago teenagers dressed as a lady. This makes him the bravest person I know...as well as it makes me sigh for my future when I come from a family like this.

PS- If you look closely you can see that his toenails are painted...he really took this prank seriously. He's also not wearing any of Mom's clothes which means he bought all new. Oh Jim.
