I am the type of person who believes in signs. Remember a couple years ago when I saw that mouse head on the step to the train and then when I got off the train at a different stop I happened to see a mouse body on the steps? That was a sign. My mom's acting professor in college gave her a candle snuffer as a wedding gift, that was a sign. (Think about it). So I am not ashamed to admit, that I believe in signs. Lately it's been CTA bus benches. Although I'm not sure what to make of this one. So far I've come up with "I United Kingdom Squared Alek Prince Symbol" and I have to say...I'm not really sure what direction to take my life in with advice like this. I feel like this is advice you would get from one of the crazy blackout drinking white trash barflies at the Oakwood Bar on a Friday night right before she barfs on your shoes. "Hey Girl, you know what? I United Kingdom Squared Alek Prince Symbol You Know What I mean?" Seriously though, am I supposed to move to the UK...twice? Am I supposed to take my friend Alek to a Prince concert? In the UK? Twice? I just don't know what to do.
The other problem is that while generally you find good or at least mysterious advice on the CTA bus benches...sometimes you just get harassed.

I mean really, bench, is this any way to talk to a lady? Who was this note written to? I want to pass by this stop someday and just listen to some guy alone sitting on the bench shouting, "OK! Where are you? Sounds good, I'd like to take you up on the offer please!" Also...what sign am I supposed to take for my life from this? I think this is a sign that I need to be taking more pictures of what's written on CTA bus benches/shelters. You should do the same. It's amazing all the hilarious and offensive and weird graffiti in our city.
You know what else there is a lot of? Stickers on the ground. Kids just drop them and people walk on them...I had about 7 pictures of them but then accidentally deleted them all. Damn you technology!
Ok, gotta run...I have a date with a certain frisky bench...er, I mean...I have to go to the UK.
Twice.

THe other day I saw an owl on a plate, and a cute little owl designed into an old bank building. I can't tell which meaning it has from this site:
