A Few Examples of Why I Love My Friend Philip

Here are a few email exchanges between me and my friend Philip (Pip), I'm pretty sure they sort of summarize our friendship and they made me laugh. Philip and I have a writing exercise thing we do called "Patrick and Frances" so that's what I'm talking about at one point, and also Philip is going to be my hot date to the Cradle Gala this Saturday so that is the other thing we are talking about. I adore Philip. And now, so will you.

Did you know that "Philip" means "friend of horses"?

Yes.

That's why horses are frequently named Philip in stories.

For instance. . . Belle's horse in Beauty and the Beast is named Philippe!

Um. . .guess who started teaching kung fu to first graders at the french school today.

Yep.

They call me Sishung Philippe!!

And tHEY'RE ALL SO EFFING ADORABLE!!!
