Summer 2007: Top 20

Here are the top 25 things that are making me the happiest this summer, in random order.

1. Pepperoni and Green Olive pizza from Chicago's Pizza.
2. Top down on Kristen's yellow mustang.
3. The discovery that there is a door to the roof of my building.
4. The Crew Crew.
5. Mega Air Conditioned movie theatres on mega hot days.
6. Tank top sale.
7. Lemonade.
8. Vodka lemonade.
9. The Uptown Lounge.
10. Lulu sleeping on her back next to the fan.
11. Little blue apartment.
12. All nighters.
13. Balogna sandwiches with doritos on ratans.
14. Improvised "Summer hours".
15. That one song by the Dixie Chicks that Kristen and I listened to 15 times.
16. Daren and John's boat.
17. Fireworks seen from lake Michigan.
18. Vanilla milkshakes and curly fries.
19. So many friends, all at once, all the time.
20. The peace sign the homeless man gave me when I was accidentally rocking out to my ipod while walking down the street last week.
21. Going down to the lake to watch the sunrise.
22. Thunderstorms, a crash of thunder that shook the glass in my windows.
23. Beer and Chocolate. This counts as one because I found bliss while sipping a beer and eating frozen kissables that were left in my freezer the other day. I don't have tv channels yet so I just sort of watched the curtains blow. It was my favorite thing.
24. The three hour very intense game of "Kill, F*ck or Marry" that involved elaborate rules and a decent amount of negotiating. I believe the ultimate winners in KFM order were as follows: Carrot Top, Matthew Fox, and John Krasinski.
25. Outside, Outside, Outside!!!

I need to do three things this summer to add to this list and those are: Outdoor movies, Ravinia and Great America.

I feel very honored to be in seven of your top 25. I feel we may have a new one to add after the e-mail you sent me this morning! :-)

Okay, two things:
1. I need to know the elaborate rules to Kill, F*ck or Marry, because it's one of my favorites.

2. Can we make a top 25 favorite things of the fall list and can a visit to Seattle and a trashtastic evening with your dear college chicken sandwich buddy be on the list?
