Somebody's Getting Married!

Last night my darling brother proposed to his lovely girlfriend Trixie and she actually said YES! She WANTS to be an Allen...crazy girl! My family is so excited that Tracy will be joining us because we all love her like family already. I'm so happy that this person who I have become close friends with will now be a part of our family. How fortunate for all of us that we are able to see the same wonderful things in Tracy that Tate sees. It wouldn't be my life if I didn't gain a new sister every few years, but Tracy will be my first "in-law" and I couldn't be more thrilled. Not to mention that Tracy's family are also a bunch of fun and kind people that my family enjoys spending time with. This couldn't have worked out better if we'd arranged it ourselves. When they have kids (or "Tater Tots" as our family refers to Tate's future children) I will be their aunt! And Tracy will be the aunt of Lucy!
So, on behalf of the Allens, Zvanuts, Wildes, Gelles' and Jacobs (brave girl coming into such a crazy huge family) we all raise a glass and welcome our first blonde to the family!!
She's going to be an Allen! Like me!

I'M A BRIDESMAID!!! Don't even think for one second that there won't be serious hardcore blogs about that in the future...I've never been a bridesmaid!
