Everyone should go to Brannen's event called NuptEquality. It's a wedding vendor showcase, I know...you think (yawn) but here's why it is NOT yawn. There is going to be a VINTAGE bridal fashion show (hot) and you'll also be able to see Catalyst Ranch which is a very cool place. Why should you be interested in seeing how space can be used at Catalyst Ranch? Parties...not just weddings. But with Brannen working there you know you can get a sweet deal for Theatre Benefits, Birthday Parties, etc etc. Anyway, this is Brannen's first big event that he's put together at his new job so I think we should all go and show our support. Plus, the B will be wearing a couture vintage suit. Hot. And listen, Gays, this showcase is specifically designed for you (engaged straights, there is plenty for you too) so if you are thinking about tying the big gay knot...better be there. Also! There will be tons of awesome vendors there, so even if you are not planning a wedding, you'll be able to mingle with lots of great people in tons of different event industries from all over the city. Join Brannen for the First Annual NuptEquality Fashion and Vendor Showcase on Saturday July 22, 2006 7pm-11pm at Catalyst Ranch, Chicago's most unique events facility. Celebrating fashion and services for weddings and same-sex commitment ceremonies, Catalyst Ranch will be chock full of local vendors and great fashion. Featuring a fashion show sporting nuptial designs by Dame Couture and Elda de la Rosa, NuptEquality will also feature caterers, florists, pastry chefs, photographers, stationers, musicians, and everything else you would need to plan an amazing wedding or commitment ceremony. A majority of the proceeds will benefit Lambda Legal, including proceeds from a drawing for a full Catalyst Ranch wedding package! Cocktail attire required.
