Three Recommendations

1) A band called Broken Social Scene. Oh My god. My friend a million years ago downloaded a ton of music onto my itunes that i have since casually glanced at. But today I disconvered this and they are great, I actually knew a few of the songs already just from wherever, but...please. Check them out, I'm in mad love with them now. Katie, I know you secretly read this blog..go download them, you will love them the most.

2) Go see Kiss of the Spiderwoman at Bailiwick. Seriously, though the lead character "Aurora" leaves a little to be desired, and by a little I mean a lot, it is all made up for by the stunning brilliance of Stan Wash as Valentin (Did any of you know Stan had such a beautiful voice, cause I didn't...I never wanted him to stop singing...and I HATE musicals.) and my lovely Ryan Lanning who mastered Molina with such elegance and subtelty. Also the chorus was wonderful thanks to Robert Ollis and such a gorgeous set. I've decided every show at B-Wick needs to take place in a prison...the big brick wall is very effective. Seriously...I have always prided myself on the fact that my mother taught me never to lie about my taste, so I wouldn't say it if it weren't true. this show is good.

3) If you get a chance, try to have a fight with Brannen, Just try, It's hilarious, seriously. He called today and we were both being very short and cold until we cracked up. You can't for real fight with people who love you...they know every trick in the bag god damn it. And thank God.
