Pink Eye is officially under control, thanks to drops prescribed by Doctor K. after she walked into the examination room and blurted out, "Whoa! Oh My God!" upon looking at me. And I have developed many new ways to deal with eyedrops. I talked to my little sister the other day who told me that she loves eyedrops...one of those things I didn't think about until later. She and my little brother would totally be friends because they both like strange things like eyedrops. (Oh, long story blah blah, they don't know each other.)
Here is the progress...
This was yesterday pre-doctors visit.
This is my 'scrip. Two drops each eye every 2 hours for the first day, then four times a day. Or every four hours, not sure, whatever QID means.
Drops.
Oh please God no!
Here I am tonight, pretty much recovered. Yay!
Here are all the things I've had during my quarantine since I am such a princess.
-Caramel Haagan Daas
-People Mag
-US Weekly
-Pizza Rolls
-Homemade Soup
-Homemade eyepatch (seriously, but yu get no picture of that. It was this morning whn the right eye burned and I needed to keep it closed in order to survive.)
-Um, strawberry ice cream.
Also, dig this...Dr. K told me to wash my eyelashes with baby shampoo. And so I did. And then on an impulse, I washed my hair with baby shampoo as well. And of course, I am now having the most amazing hair day of my entire life...while in quarantine. I feel though, as if I've uncovered a major celebrity hair secret. Baby shampoo. I'm going to investigate this.
Anyway, I think I might be fully recovered by tomorrow which means that I will be able to hang out with my friend Kelly as planned and also get out of this pink eye house.
As far as other symptoms:
-Cold = gone
-Throat = hurts and a little coughy
-Tummy aches = cured by ice cream
-Insomnia = cured, then uncured. Damn.

brooke, i feel so bad for you. if i remembered where you lived i would bring you some bamme or some porn... which ever would make you and your pink eye better.
