1) My friend went on a date. It was a blind date and ironically I was talking about this specific friend tonight and how hilarious she is, so it was no surprise to find the email I found. Her detailed description of this date is something I will save and cherish and laugh at for ages, even though I feel bad for her. here is a snippet...
"We headed back to the movie theatre, and at some point he tried to pat my shoulder and I jumped as though he had shot me. He called me a socialist because I didn't want any popcorn, which I didn't even feel like pointing out made no sense. Then he went to the butter pump to put more butter on his popcorn. I didn't even know that such a thing existed. He missed the bag and got fake-butter-substance all over his hand. I can't even explain how much this repulsed me. "I hope you like buttery hands, girl," was his exact quote. Imagine, if you will, the horrified expression I just know was on my face. There is not enough yuck in the world."
I love my friends who graduated from creative writing school with me, cause they can make even the worst stories into the best stories.
2) THEN, I get the following picture from my friend Jon. Which just goes to promote my continual "Yay Angelina" theory. I mean, seriously, if Branjelina produces something as beautiful as my friend Jon, how could you not support it?

Your email made me die laughing last night. I'm glad that we are able to take the stupid things that happen in our lives and entertain the masses with them. I told eeryone last night about "Luck o' the Pirish" and they all want to meet you now. You know what that means....road trip!!!!
